Milestone Moments
First Outreach Event
Our first outreach event was at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Cincinnati! We had the opportunity to donate 50 origami star bouquets to the veterans.
First Local Event
Our first local event at the Mason Public Library! We partnered with the William Mason High School Origami Club to make turkey star lollipops and turkey origami. These were also donated to the VA Cincinnati Medical Center.
First International Outreach Event
Our first international outreach event to the Yidao Education Group in China! We were able to donate 30 jars of paper stars, each containing motivational messages and candy.
First Senior Center Outreach Event
Our first senior center outreach event at the Mason Community Center! We had the pleasure of engaging senior citizens in a bracelet kit-making-activity.
First Red Rhythm and Boom
Our first Red Rhythm and Boom at Mason’s annual fireworks show! To celebrate Fourth of July, we hosted a booth that sold bracelets, held raffle giveaways, and offered face painting.
First Local Fundraiser
Our first local fundraiser event was a 5k Marathon in the Corwin Nixon Park! We sent half of our proceeds ($1,000) to the Cincinnati Childrens’ hospital.
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Donation
Following our successful 5k event, we presented the check from our earnings at the run! This donation was made to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, along with 255 bracelets and paper star kits.
Cincinnati VA Hospital Donation
We donated 100 bracelets and 100 cards to Cincinnati VA Hospital! These wonderful creations will to to pediatric patients and veterans.
Holland Hospital Donation
With a total of 520 crafts, we donated 214 cards and 306 bracelets to Holland Hospital. Each of these gifts will be gifted to a special individual to brighten their days!
Mason Senior Center Outreach
To wrap up the summer, we created bracelet kits with the Mason Senior Center to donate!
Children's Hospital at VCU Donation
A grand total of 185 bracelet kits was donated to Children’s Hospital at VCU! These kits come in a large variety, handmade by our volunteers.
North Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Donation
North Point Nursing and Rehabilitation received 70 bead bracelets, 105 string/loom bracelets, 60 cards, 10 star bundles, and 1 crochet craft!
Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Donation
We donated 130 bead bracelets, 120 rainbow loom bracelets, 120 cards, 20 star bundles, and 6 star bouquets to Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation!
Our First Halloween Event
We held a local Halloween event to make bracelet kits and Boo Pops for VA Health!
Children's Nebraska and Norton's Children's Hospital Donation
2 big donations were made at Children’s Nebraska and Norton’s Children’s Hospital! 120 bracelet kits were sent to Children’s Nebraska, and Norton’s Children’s Hospital received 200 bracelet kits.
Halloween Donation
62 Boo Pops were made to donate to VA Health for Halloween!
Veteran's Day Donation
100 cards, 100 bracelets, and 25 paper bouquets were donated to the VA – Cincinnati Medical Center for Veteran’s Day!
Seattle Children's and UCSF Benioff Children's Donation
700 bracelet kits were donated to Seattle Children’s and UCSF Benioff Children’s. 200 kits to Seattle Children’s and 500 kits UCSF Benioff Children’s!
Merrimack Hospital Donation
Merrimack Hospital received 510 cards. 290 bracelets, and 50 star bundles to hand out to their patients!
Le Bonheur Children's Hospital
Pediatric kids at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital received 291 cards, 25 star bundles, 22 bracelet kits, 32 paper star kits, and 340 bracelets!
